Zion United Church of Christ traces its origin to 1842, when a German Reformed ministerial student was sent from Lancaster to preach in the Conestoga, Millersville, and Rohrerstown area. The congregation shared a sanctuary, known as the "Union Church of Millerstown," with Lutheran and Moravian congregations from 1844 to 1870.
